Job Description

We are looking to add a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist at Baptist Ambulatory Clinic. This Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is PRN and will mostly travel between our University, South, and Pavilion locations. As the Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform assessments to diagnose and monitor vascular diseases, including peripheral artery disease, deep vein thrombosis, carotid artery disease, and aneurysms. You will work closely with surgeons and healthcare professionals to provide preoperative and intraoperative assistance. This Vascular Technology department is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with vascular conditions. This department offers diagnostic imaging services such as vascular ultrasound and Doppler studies to evaluate blood vessels and assess blood flow. The department's focus is on accurate diagnoses, tailored treatment plans, and collaborative patient care.

Job Responsibility

  • Conducting high-quality vascular ultrasound studies and ensuring optimal image acquisition
  • Collaborating with cardiologists and fellow healthcare professionals for the best patient outcomes
  • Educating patients about vascular health and the importance of follow-up care
  • Maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment
  • Documenting findings accurately
  • Adhering to privacy standards

  • Presenting a professional, compassionate demeanor with patients
  • Identifying, prepaparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
  • Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) (CCI) Required
  • Or Registered Diagnostic Medical Songrapher (ARDMS) Required
  • Or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Required
  • Or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required
  • Or ARDMS License Required
  • Or Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
  • Or Licensed Vascular Specialist Required
  • Or Licensed Vascular Technologist Required
  • Or Licensed Sonographer Required
  • 1-2 years Vascular Sonographer Experience Preferred
