Job Description:

An ultrasound unit is looking for a Band 7 Vascular Sonographer to join their department in South London. The post holder will help conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations and provide accurate reports on this to the Lead Sonographer. This is a fulltime locum position (Monday-Friday) but part-time hours are acceptable depending on the strength of the candidate CV. The contract is ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance/service needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations
  • provide accurate reports to the Lead Sonographer

Requirements:

  • valid HCPC registration
  • relevant vascular sonographer experience within a NHS hospital
  • ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

  • Helps in the responsibility of keeping procedure manuals up to date
