Job Description:

In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out high-quality inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure all vehicles meet our exacting standards before they are returned to customers or released to market. Working as part of a skilled and motivated team, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining our reputation for excellence, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Job Responsibility:

  • Following a job card to carry out approved repairs
  • Removing and refitting parts across multiple brands of vehicles
  • Ability to understand and follow advised customers repair standards
  • Ability to problem solve and diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues
  • Completing safety checks (Mechanical Inspections) on newly arrived vehicles
  • Ensure all repairs are carried out to a high standard and quality check your own work
  • Maintain a tidy and safe work environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in mechanical and electrical fitting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Have a strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements
  • Willingness to go on a MOT testers course if not already a qualified tester
