DEBRA, a national charity supporting individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), is looking for a part-time Van Driver to join our logistics team in Crawley. This is more than just a driving job—it’s a chance to support a cause that transforms lives. You’ll help keep our charity shops running smoothly and ensure vital goods reach the right places at the right time.

Job Responsibility:

  • Represent DEBRA with professionalism and care during collections and deliveries
  • Safely load and unload goods, following manual handling regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
  • Keep the van clean, roadworthy, and serviced
  • Comply with UK driving laws and health & safety standards
  • Be flexible and responsive to changing operational needs

Requirements:

  • A full, clean UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
  • Minimum 1 year of van driving experience
  • Due to insurance policy requirements, applicants must be aged 25 or over
  • A friendly, professional attitude and presentable appearance
  • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely

Nice to have:

Applicants under 25 or with less than 1 year of experience may still apply, but may be subject to additional insurance costs
