Van Driver

Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd is a leading independent builders’ merchant across the South West of England. We’re looking for a Van Driver to join our team in Exmouth- a key role where you’ll be the face of our business out on the road and in branch. This is more than just a driving role. You’ll be delivering materials to our customers across multiple sites, ensuring deliveries are on time, in full, and handled with care. You’ll take pride in providing a friendly, professional service- building relationships with customers and representing Bradfords to the highest standard. Back in branch, you’ll support the wider team- helping serve customers, preparing orders, and keeping operations running smoothly. It’s a varied, hands-on role where teamwork and flexibility are essential. Along the way, you’ll also play your part in driving the business forward- spotting sales opportunities, identifying new customer sites, and feeding back valuable insights to the team. We’re looking for someone who: Enjoys being on the road and delivering excellent customer service; Has a positive, can-do attitude and works well as part of a team; Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work; Understands the importance of health & safety and safe vehicle handling; Is confident communicating with customers and colleagues. A full, clean driving licence is essential. Experience in a builders’ merchant, plumbing & heating environment, or a similar role would be an advantage, and a forklift licence would be great- but full training will be provided.
