Van Driver / Warehouse Operative

Job Responsibility

Goods in, goods out — receive, check and book in stock
pick, pack and prep orders
Load the van — get deliveries out accurately and in the right order for the run
Hit the road — deliver to sites, merchants and homes safely and on time
Plan the run — work efficiently to keep deliveries moving
Handle the paperwork — PODs, returns and any issues logged clearly
Keep stock straight — accurate records, support stock takes, flag any issues
Run a tidy warehouse — clean, organised and safe
Look after the van — daily checks, keep it roadworthy and presentable
Muck in — support the counter and yard when it’s busy
Work safe — follow H&S and handle materials properly

Requirements

Full, valid UK driving licence
Warehouse, stores or delivery experience
Solid work ethic and a reliable streak
Attention to detail
Friendly, professional manner
Team-player attitude
Comfortable with manual handling
