Job Description:

Our client is looking for an energetic and motivated Van driver to join their team delivering goods to their customers ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver and install company products
  • Work with customers face to face and over the telephone
  • Liaise with Logistics Manager, Company owners and colleagues
  • Unload, store, pick and load company items including heavy lifting
  • Load and unload company equipment on and off the Van
  • Understand daily schedule to maximise efficiency and minimise repeat visits
  • Liaise with Warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries
  • Ensure vehicles are in a safe condition with daily road worthiness checks
  • Keep vehicles clean and tidy
  • Maintain stock levels of consumable items on van

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Knowledge of driving a sprinter sized van
  • Experience dealing with customers on a face to face basis
  • Good level of physical fitness for manual handling of heavy items
  • Flexibility towards working hours
  • Ability to use hand tools
