Job Description:

As a Value Engineering Intern, you will work with the KnowBe4 Sales Engineering department on quantifying and communicating the business value of KnowBe4's human risk management platform. You will support initiatives including value realization assessments, customer success metrics analysis, implementation optimization strategies, adoption framework development, and post-sale value tracking. In addition, you will be tasked with assisting and supporting the Sales Engineering team with developing value engineering frameworks, and creating data-driven narratives that demonstrate measurable business outcomes for customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with developing, analyzing and refining value engineering frameworks, ROI models, and TCO calculators
  • Assist with analyzing customer success metrics, adoption data, and outcome measurements to build evidence-based value realization reports and business impact assessments
  • Assist with any value benchmarking research, industry cost-of-breach analysis, or security incident financial impact modeling as needed
  • Shadow Sales Engineers and Sales Architects in a wide array of value engineering activities, including Proof of Value (POV) planning, and success criteria development
  • Support the continuous improvement of value engineering templates, assessment tools, and customer value journey documentation
  • Assist with customer value story compilation and quantified success documentation
  • Research new value engineering methodologies and customer success measurement techniques
  • Research developing approaches to measuring security culture improvement and human risk reduction
  • Complete projects related to value engineering framework development and customer outcome analysis as assigned
  • Research varying quantitative and qualitative measures that demonstrate security awareness program effectiveness and business value
