Job Responsibility

  • Construct and present executive-ready Business Value Assessments (BVAs), building a compelling, data-driven business case to articulate a clear return on investment
  • Partner with our sales team to guide prospective clients, using your expertise to understand their unique challenges and answer their technical, software, and accounting questions
  • Design and deliver engaging, customised demonstrations of BlackLine's platform that directly address the needs and goals of our prospective clients
  • Share your knowledge of best practices and real-world use cases to help customers envision how they can expand their use of BlackLine and achieve their objectives
  • Lead webinars, presentations, and training sessions that empower prospects and clients, helping them unlock the full potential of our solutions
  • Act as a key voice and ambassador for BlackLine by moderating our Community forums and representing us at industry conferences and roundtable events
  • Commit to continuous learning, staying current on all new product functionality and its proper use to provide maximum value to our clients
  • Work closely with the wider team by assisting with proposals (RFPs/RFIs) and meticulously documenting your activities to ensure seamless communication and shared success.

Requirements

  • We are excited to hear from candidates with diverse professional backgrounds. You could be an experienced pre-sales professional, a subject matter expert from a consulting firm (with an accounting or audit profile), or bring equivalent experience from a related field
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to build and present a compelling, data-driven business case that resonates with a C-level audience
  • A strategic and consultative mindset, with a talent for connecting technical solutions to the tangible business value they deliver
  • Proven experience creating and delivering clear, engaging, and influential presentations to executive-level stakeholders
  • A deep understanding of the enterprise finance landscape, including how systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) operate and how data flows through financial processes
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience that has provided you with a strong foundation for success in this role
  • Fluency in German and English.
