Job Description

Amgen is hiring a Value Access Manager/Associate Manager in Singapore. The role is accountable for developing and leading the implementation of drug access and pricing strategy, working with government and private healthcare organizations, and ensuring access initiatives adhere to Amgen's values.

Job Responsibility

  • Developing and leading the implementation of drug access and pricing strategy involving government and private healthcare organizations
  • Work collaboratively with external third-party organizations to align and execute on shared goals across Amgen Singapore’s product portfolios
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure the benefits to patients offered by Amgen products can be optimized
  • Ensure all access initiatives adhere to highest level of integrity and Amgen Values
  • Develop and implement access strategies for responsible portfolios in Singapore, including but not limited to tenders, product listing and patient support program
  • Build long term, substantive relationships with ACE, ALPS and all other relevant stakeholders based on values of trust, respect and transparency
  • Support access to medicines by working with HCOs and HCPs on value-based partnerships to help determine the value of innovation and innovative financing to address access barriers
  • Manage patient support programs in accordance to Amgen SOPs
  • Serve as an internal resource and identify opportunities to maximize HCPs-/HCOs- related projects, and coordinate across functions around key areas of concern for access
  • Provide input and coordination as needed on patient support programs to marketing team to support brand strategy
  • Work cross-functionally across teams as a strong partner and collaborator
  • Monitor the external healthcare environment with respect to drug access and subsidy

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • At least 2 years working for a global pharmaceutical company in areas of marketing access and/or marketing
  • Good understanding of Singapore Healthcare Systems and future outlook
  • Good understanding of pharma/biotech business model, regulatory and reimbursement processes, compliance guidelines and Health Economics & Outcomes
  • Computer skills (MS Office programs)
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written communications

  • Partner with the Value & Access Insights team to develop and own the V&A Insights data strategy, establishing a clear roadmap for how the team's data assets are connected, governed, and activated across the portfolio
  • Lead and shape the V&A data strategy, including anticipating and managing changes in data feeds driven by evolving policy changes and increasing adoption of net price–based contracting models
  • Identify gaps and redundancies across existing V&A data sources and develop a plan to close them
  • Design and implement data integration frameworks that enable innovative analytics across the portfolio
  • Partner with IT and other cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable data infrastructure aligned to V&A's analytical needs
  • Work in close collaboration with Project Polaris to define and execute an integrated enterprise data strategy
  • In partnership with HEOR and CFoR teams, identify opportunities to enrich V&A datasets and enable access to new and emerging data sources that improve analytics and decision-making capabilities
  • Champion data quality standards and governance practices that ensure V&A data assets are reliable and fit for strategic decision-making
