The Valuation Control Senior Lead Analyst is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department carrying out the Independent Price Verification, Valuation Adjustment and Fair Value Hierarchy processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Follow the latest trends in own field and adapt them for application within the role and the business
  • Negotiate internally, often at a senior level, and guide and influence others, including colleagues in other areas
  • Contribute to the directional strategy of the Valuation Control function, anticipating the impact to daily work and the business
  • Provide solutions to complex valuation issues, through in-depth analysis, interpreting results, and comparing and selecting between alternatives
  • Apply ingenuity and creativity to analyse issues and provide solutions for complicated situations
  • Can exercise significant independence of judgement and autonomy and provide thought leadership on technical valuation issues.
  • Operating with a mastery of knowledge of product valuation, industry practices and standards
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
