The Valuation Control Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for contributing to the Independent Price Verification, Valuation Adjustment and Fair Value Hierarchy processes.
Job Responsibility:
Solve valuation issues under little to no supervision, including complex problems
Apply in-depth industry knowledge towards the development of new techniques and improving processes or work-flow for the Finance department
Serve as a subject matter expert within Valuation Control
Identify process gaps and control issues
Evaluate moderately complex issues utilizing data, and select the best action between potentially conflicting situations
Analyse data by filtering, prioritizing, and validating moderately complex information from multiple sources
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
Apply in-depth knowledge of product valuation, industry practices and standards
Provide solutions for varied issues that potentially impact the broader business
Communicate information clearly and succinctly
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements:
5-8 years of relevant experience
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
