Validation Technician

• Contribute to initiatives focused on improving equipment performance, validation processes, and maintenance procedures
• Provide evidence of compliance with validation and maintenance requirements during internal and external audits
• Conduct validation activities to ensure all equipment functions according to design and maintains required environmental conditions
• Prepare and review validation protocol documentation in line with SOPs and validation plans
• Perform validation and qualification of temperature-controlled equipment
• Document and investigate validation deviations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
• Monitor and manage the validation schedule to ensure timely completion of required activities
• Perform regular maintenance checks, ensuring temperature-controlled systems operate efficiently and comply with regulatory and safety standards
• Document weekly, monthly, and ad hoc maintenance and health & safety checks for all equipment and systems
• Operate and calibrate the temperature monitoring system
• Maintain the PPM software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date maintenance records
• Analyse temperature-controlled area data to identify trends or deviations affecting equipment performance or product quality
• Coordinate maintenance activities during shutdowns and ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks
• Oversee external contractors conducting calibration and maintenance, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards
• Ensure all temperature-controlled equipment is validated and calibrated before due dates, maintaining compliance with company and regulatory requirements
• Safeguard product quality by ensuring equipment operates within validated parameters
• Assist with operational projects, urgent maintenance tasks, and ad hoc requests to support the success of the business

• BSc in a science subject
• Familiarity with GMP production
• Knowledge and/or experience in validation processes is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Positive attitude toward learning new skills and adapting to new processes
• Awareness and understanding of safety standards
