Job Responsibility:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of validation engineers and technicians
set goals, manage performance, skills, and hiring
Plan, execute, and report validation projects for automotive power electronics, ensuring alignment with program milestones and customer deadlines
Drive the validation process across the full product development cycle (V-model), from concept to production launch
Oversee validation lab infrastructure, test benches, equipment procurement, commissioning, calibration, and maintenance
Analyze test data against requirements and provide technical guidance to design teams
ensure complete and compliant documentation
Ensure compliance with quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 17025), Lean principles, and 8D problem-solving methodologies
Collaborate closely with global engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders to support safe, on-time, and high-quality product launches
Support budgeting, resource planning, continuous improvement, and achievement of cost and quality objectives
Requirements:
Master degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
Fluency in English
Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in preferably in validation or design engineering within the automotive or related industry
Good knowledge of validation and testing principles and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with industry standards and testing protocols for automotive components
Proven experience in leading technical teams
Experience in working with global organizations
Good project management skills
Strong ability to assess and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
Travel is required, at the initial stage for extended period of time. Then, up to 15% of the time
Nice to have:
Laboratory and team management experience
Experience in Test and Validation of complex system (Software and Hardware)
Knowledge of Programming in C/C++, LabView, TestStand, and LabWindows
Power electronics knowledge
Experience working in automotive
Experienced in Excel VBA macro development
Operations and implementation of lean operating principles
