The Valet delivers five-star service to all residents, family members, and guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous and professional manner. This individual provides valet parking services to safely and efficiently move resident and guest automobiles to a designated parking location while following Company policies and procedures.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver five-star service to all residents, family members, and guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous and professional manner
Provide valet parking services to safely and efficiently move resident and guest automobiles to a designated parking location while following Company policies and procedures
Open and close doors for customers
Assist customers with carrying their belongings to and from their cars
Provide directions or other helpful information about the local area
Handle all resident and guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
Warmly welcome every resident and guest to the community
Assist guests with opening and closing of vehicle doors, assist with luggage and other belongings
Valet cars for residents, guests and family members maintaining an orderly flow of traffic
Inspect vehicles for existing flaws and record what is found to limit any claims or disputes
Drive vehicle to a specific spot in the valet parking lot, secure and note the space the vehicle is parked in, tag and log the vehicle, manage keys and claim tickets, and return the tag and keys to the valet key booth
Manage parking area, by putting up and taking down barricades, directing traffic, and more
Follow proper safe driving procedures and safety protocol at all times
Inspect exterior of property, including the garage and front lobby
Vacuum front entrance and lobby when required
Maintain cleanliness of the entry including the glass doors and windows
Deliver packages and groceries when required
Manage name plate installation for resident parking
Escalate issues to management or other team members as required
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health and Safety responsibilities by following established Coterie and state policies, procedures, trainings, and team member involvement events
May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
or one (1) to three (3) months of related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with car stacker systems preferred
Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination record card at time of hire
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Bilingual Spanish speaking abilities preferred
Ability to work flexible work hours due to demands of position
work schedules will include some evenings and weekends
Ability to drive vehicles with both standard and automatic transmissions
Ability to monitor and coordinate basic car servicing, such as changing oil or tires, jumping a car, and more
Position requires driving responsibilities
Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Coterie’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy standards
Nice to have:
Experience with car stacker systems
Bilingual Spanish speaking abilities
