Job Description:

Valet Parker position at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Schedule is 9:30am-6pm, Friday-Monday, 40 hours per week. Involves greeting guests, maintaining safe traffic areas, processing payments, and driving golf carts. Work environment includes exposure to vehicle fumes, extreme weather, and risk of blood borne diseases. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Adheres to the Medical Center standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building
  • Responsible for greeting guests with a helpful and caring attitude
  • Responsible for maintaining a clear and safe area for pedestrian and vehicular traffic
  • Completes all forms and documents correctly
  • Collects payments and secures cash and keys if required
  • Completes in a timely manner all Medical Center and Department training requirements
  • Drives golf cart as requested
  • Performs other duties as requested by management

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Clean driving record for five years
  • Mathematical skills preferred
  • Level I Qualified Spanish Bilingual Staff (QBS) preferred
  • Valid applicable state driver's license with no restrictions
  • Must communicate professionally, be a good listener and be willing to assist anyone
  • Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Sound basic math skills for processing payments and deposits
  • Able to stand or walk for prolonged periods
