Vaccinator

• Vaccination of patients with COVID-19 vaccines in line with local and national guidance, including drawing up vaccine
• Vaccination of patients with Flu vaccine relevant to their age group and eligibility criteria
• Understanding eligibility for vaccination in line with JCVI guidance and where to seek guidance regarding eligibility and issues
• Following PGDs and National Protocols
• Explaining the basics of how the vaccine works, what it contains and why, how it has been trialled, any contraindications or precautions, possible side effects and how to treat them
• Preserving a safe and effective working environment for patients and staff
• Preserving infection control.

• Must be registered i.e. GMC, NMC
• Prior experience of vaccination ideal
• Submission for Disclosure and Barring Service Check required.
