Job Description:

Our Large Program division (CNS) is looking for travel crews to complete work around the Louisville, Ky market. Our travel crews will provide support for our existing projects in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. Our travel crew will work as a team to perform underground fiber construction (Plow, Drill, Bore, Vac Truck, Tie & Vault). As a Vacuum Truck Laborer, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vacuum trucks to assist with excavation projects, including the removal of liquids, slurries, and debris. This role is vital to our operations, ensuring sites are clean and safe for further excavation and construction work

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate vacuum trucks to remove and transport liquids, slurries, and debris from excavation sites
  • May also operate backhoe, mini excavator, shovel and vacuum truck
  • Correctly communicate with crew of location utilities
  • Properly dispose of vac materials

Requirements:

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsements
  • 2 years previous experience operating vacuum trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.)
  • DOT Medical Card
  • Commercial Driver's License with Tanker endorsement
  • Must have a valid CDL driver’s license, with a good driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screening
