Requirements:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in UX, Design, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional experience working as a front-end developer, web designer, UX designer in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing high-quality frontend websites using HTML and CSS
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design
  • WCAG 2.x, Section 508 compliance, responsive design, and front-end best practices in secure government environments
  • Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
  • Knowledge of human-centered design methodology or design thinking principles
  • Working independently or jumping in to work collaboratively with a team

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite including XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Certifications in UX/UI, Accessibility, and/or Front-End Development
  • Developing and/or managing websites using a CMS doesn’t scare you, especially Joomla
