Job Description

We are looking for a 'UX UI Designer' for our client.

Conduct user research and usability testing to understand player needs, pain points, and motivations
Translate research insights into wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes
Design clean, visually compelling UI elements including menus, HUDs, icons, buttons, pop-ups, and progression screens
Establish and maintain UI style guides, typography systems, color palettes, and iconography standards across titles
Collaborate with game designers to ensure UX supports core gameplay loops and meta systems
Work with the art team to ensure visual consistency between UI and in-game art direction
Use player data and A/B test results to iterate on and optimize the user experience
Present and defend design decisions to the team with clarity and rationale.

3+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, with at least some of that time spent on mobile games
A strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking (research, flows, wireframes) and visual UI craft (polished screens, icon sets, component libraries)
Solid understanding of mobile game UX patterns: onboarding, store/shop flows, progression systems, session pacing, and notification design
Proficiency in Figma (preferred) or equivalent design tools such as Sketch or Adobe XD
Understanding of color theory, typography, layout composition, and interaction design
Experience conducting or synthesizing user research, usability tests, or player feedback
Comfort working in a small, collaborative team where you will wear multiple hats
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design rationale in English.

Experience designing for puzzle, casual, or hybrid-casual game genres
Familiarity with Unity UI workflows (not hands-on implementation, but understanding constraints and handoff)
Experience building or contributing to design systems
Interest in mobile game analytics and data-informed design decisions.
