This role is within our Experience & Engineering team in Ireland, and will be seconded to one of our clients within health services. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver exceptional and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver UX research projects which will help identify, evaluate and design digital interventions to support the adoption of healthy behaviour
Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver complex projects
Understand and apply a wide range of user research and design methods, including when to use those methods and how to apply them correctly
Plan and deliver consultations and engagements with patients, the public, and advocacy groups to involve them in the design process
Apply rapid prototyping methods to support evidence-based design development
Effectively manage research participants to ensure high quality research engagements
Communicate research findings that colleagues can understand and use to make decisions. Advocate for evidence-based design decisions
Conduct usability testing with diverse user groups. Ensure that feedback is appropriately and effectively sourced, analysed and actioned
Contribute to continuous improvement across HSE products and services
Carry out User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and QA third party deliverables against established standards and protocols
Advocate for inclusive, accessible, sustainable design across products and services
Liaise with developers, content, social teams and internal clients throughout the design process
Be service-user and client-focused, and understand the Health Services’ fundamental role, purpose, structure and strategic goals
Contribute as part of a high-functioning team, with concurrent projects and competing priorities
Work with colleagues from the wider Communications Division, from other HSE Divisions and agency collaborators
Requirements:
A minimum of 8 years experience working in a UX role
Understanding and experience of the end-to-end design process (from discovery to delivery)
In-depth, hands-on knowledge of UX design and research methods
Experience delivering in person and remote moderated tests, user and stakeholder interviews
Experience developing and executing research plans
Experience planning and facilitating in person and online engagements(focus groups, co-design sessions)
The ability to develop appropriate user research strategies according to the needs of a project
An ability to talk about, and advocate for, user research in a way that other people understand
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams to inform research findings
Experience working collaboratively in a dynamic agile environment
Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
Effective verbal communication skills, delivering complex information clearly, concisely and confidently
Excellent written communication skills including the ability to communicate research processes and outcomes to a wide range of stakeholders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
The ability to successfully manage a range of different projects and work activities concurrently, utilising appropriate methodologies effectively and assigning work to others as appropriate to meet strict deadlines
The ability to proactively identify areas for improvement and to develop practical solutions for their implementation
The ability to embrace change and adapt local work practices accordingly by finding practical ways to make policies work, ensuring the team knows how to action changes
