Job Description

We’re looking for a curious, fast-moving UX Researcher to help shape the future of Lovable. You’ll uncover how users think, feel, and act, turning insights into product direction. You’ll design studies, test concepts, and experiment with new AI-assisted ways of learning from users, helping us move fast without compromising on craft.

Job Responsibility

  • Turn user insights into product direction that shapes how the world builds software
  • Partner with product, design, growth and data teams to define learning goals for upcoming features and experiments
  • Explore new AI-driven approaches for recruiting, analysis, and synthesis — expanding how we learn from users
  • Conduct user sessions directly with Lovable users, gathering firsthand insights into behaviors, motivations, and unmet needs
  • Collaborate with data scientists to interpret behavioral data and validate qualitative findings
  • Contribute to building research frameworks, templates, and best practices for scalable discovery at Lovable

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in UX research, human-centered design, or a related role
  • Proficiency in qualitative methods (interviews, usability testing, concept testing)
  • Experience with survey design, data analysis, and working with behavioral data (e.g., from analytics tools) is a plus
  • Strong synthesis skills, distilling findings into insights that influence design and product decisions
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to bring research to life for cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, iterative environments with shifting priorities
  • Experience working closely with designers, PMs, and data scientists

Nice to have

Experience with survey design, data analysis, and working with behavioral data (e.g., from analytics tools)

  • Play a key role in understanding our customer’s needs, behaviours and pain points to inform design decisions and encourage insight led product development
  • Lead the creation and execution of research projects utilising both qualitative and quantitative methodologies
  • Delivery of end to end research programmes which are highly synergistic with other research and analytics activities conducted by the business including Design/UX Research, Colleague research, quantitative research and CX tracking
