Robert Half is seeking a UX Researcher to support one of our clients in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about understanding user behavior and translating insights into meaningful product and design improvements. The UX Researcher will play a critical role in helping product and design teams better understand their users by conducting research, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure that digital products are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with user needs. Job Responsibility:
Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to better understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations
Design and execute research studies including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and field studies
Analyze research findings and translate insights into actionable recommendations for product and design teams
Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to inform product strategy and design decisions
Develop research plans, discussion guides, and test scripts to support user testing and product validation
Present research findings and insights to stakeholders in clear and compelling ways
Identify usability issues and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and product usability
Advocate for user-centered design principles across teams and projects
Support continuous improvement by tracking user feedback and measuring product usability
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, UX Design, or a related field
3+ years of experience in UX research, user research, or human-centered design
Strong experience conducting usability testing, interviews, surveys, and other research methods
Experience synthesizing research findings and translating them into product insights
Familiarity with UX research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Maze, or similar platforms
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and product managers
Excellent analytical, communication, and storytelling skills
