Job Description

12 month placement starting in Summer 2026. We’re looking for a Product Design Intern to work on the Roku Mobile app. In this role, you will be mentored by a friendly and collaborative Mobile UX Team and work with other designers, researchers and product managers.

Job Responsibility

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for mobile app features
  • Communicate designs to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
  • Document product designs in Figma and on our Wiki
  • Participate in design discovery and ideation activities
  • Partner with researchers to help execute studies and gather customer insights

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program and in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
  • Due to graduate in December 2027 or later
  • Familiarity with Material and iOS design guidelines
  • Experience and passion for designing Mobile apps
  • Experience working with Figma
  • Interest in streaming TV
  • Strong verbal skills with the ability to influence without authority
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with remote supervision
