Job Description:

12 Month Placement. We’re looking for a Product Design Intern to support our Live TV experience. In this role, you’ll be mentored by a UX Product Design Manager and a Site Manager, and collaborate closely with designers, writers, product manager and engineers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the design of Roku’s Live TV experience
  • Gather and clarify design requirements from Live stakeholders
  • Conduct product audits and competitive analysis
  • Explore design concepts and present work to stakeholders
  • Iterate based on feedback
  • Design in Figma and document work in Confluence

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Design, HCI, or a related field
  • Graduation date of 2027 or later
  • Availability to commit to a full-time internship from June 2026
  • Interest in TV UI and streaming experiences
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to influence without authority
  • Strong written communication skills (e.g., style guides, PRDs, specs)
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • A team-first mindset focused on shared outcomes
  • Experience with Figma
