We are looking for an experienced and people-focused UX Lead to drive the user experience vision across our software platform, Unite, and lead and develop a team of UX designers. In this role, you will combine strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to create intuitive, user-centered experiences that deliver real business value. You will play a key role in shaping product direction, elevating design quality, and fostering a strong UX culture within the organization. You will join a cross-functional team of Product Managers and UX designers, reporting to the Product Director of Unite and being part of the Portfolio, Product and Strategy department.
Job Responsibility
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of UX professionals
Drive the UX strategy and vision for the Unite platform, ensuring alignment with product strategy, user needs, and business objectives
Create structure and scalable ways of working for the UX team and ensure effective distribution and prioritization of tasks across the team (including facilitation of design reviews, workshops, and feedback sessions, etc.)
Act as a strategic partner to Product Management and Engineering, ensuring user needs are represented in product decisions and that the end-to-end user experience remains cohesive across Unite platform
Translate user insights, business goals, and product roadmaps into actionable design solutions and prioritized UX work plans, ensuring effective resource allocation and delivery across the UX team
Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization and actively use data (Databricks, Fullstory) to drive data-informed design decisions
Foster structured cross-stream UX collaboration and alignment across TRIOS, Unite, DX, and other teams and initiatives to ensure intuitive user experience and efficient delivery
Ensure high-quality, consistent, and user-validated UX outcomes across the product portfolio through aligned user journeys, interfaces, and design systems
Contribute hands-on to UX activities when needed, including wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and research
Own recruitment, onboarding, and resource allocation for the UX team
Requirements
6+ years of UX design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship role
Proven experience designing for complex software and/or hardware interfaces—ideally within healthcare, medtech, or other regulated industries
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across product and engineering teams
