We are looking for a UX Designer / UX Specialist for our customer from aviation industry, who will be responsible for designing intuitive and advanced user interfaces. The customer's platform helps airlines make critical decisions quickly while adapting to unpredictable market conditions and evolving passenger behaviors. Built as a flexible and configurable ecosystem, platform supports end‑to‑end flight operations with integrated tools powered by data, automation, AI and advanced optimization. These capabilities help operators boost operational efficiency, strengthen profitability, and elevate the passenger experience. Designed for scalability, platform serves a wide range of operators providing a unified, future‑ready solution for managing the full spectrum of flight operations. It is possible that you will work on multiple products in the platform. The focus will be Flight Plan Manager (FPM) system that is being modernized into a next‑generation web application streamlining flight planning and monitoring with a clean, configurable UI built to support manage‑by‑exception workflows and rapid dispatcher decision‑making. As UX designer, you’ll work on building a modern web-based system that integrates real‑time operational data (weather, NOTAMs, aircraft performance, policy rules) and presents cost‑optimized routing insights with clarity and speed. We goal is to build a best‑in‑class flight dispatch system that reduces planning time, improves compliance, and translates FPM’s proven cost‑savings models into an intuitive, web‑first experience for global operations.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct user research and translate insights into personas, journeys, and clear product requirements
Define information architecture and interaction flows to create intuitive, user‑centered experiences
Design wireframes and interactive prototypes to explore, communicate, and validate concepts
Create low and high‑fidelity UI prototypes and designs that ensure visual consistency, brand alignment, and usability
Contribute to and maintain design systems, reusable components, and documentation
Plan and run usability tests, analyze results, and iterate designs based on findings
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross‑functional teams throughout delivery
Prepare clear design specs, documentation, and assets for smooth developer handoff
Monitor product performance and propose continuous UX improvements based on data and feedback
Present design decisions, facilitate workshops, and effectively communicate with stakeholders
Define UX strategy, align design decisions with business goals, and influence product direction
Requirements:
5+ years experience working within an aviation software design environment, or similar highly complex technological products requiring fast study, thinking and action
Ability to conduct interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry, heuristic evaluations, competitive analysis, and extract actionable insights
Structuring content, navigation systems, taxonomy, and user flows for clarity and usability
Designing intuitive interactions, behaviors, and micro‑interactions with a user‑centered approach
Planning, running, and synthesizing moderated/unmoderated tests
applying findings to iterate designs
Creating personas, empathy maps, journey maps, and scenario‑based design framing
Mastery of layout, typography, hierarchy, spacing, imagery, color theory, and accessibility‑driven design choices
Creating polished interfaces for web, mobile, and multi‑platform systems
Building reusable components, documentation, patterns, and ensuring consistency across large‑scale products
Expertise in Modern Design Tools (with focus on Figma)
Low to high‑fidelity prototypes, from simple flows to complex interaction logic
Strong literacy in HTML, CSS, responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and design‑tech constraints
Must possess a legal work permit in Poland
