Job Description:

As a UX Design Intern at Xometry, you’ll work on real-world projects that enhance user experiences, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and learn how to design intuitive and impactful solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct user research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
  • Design and iterate on user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and aligned with brand guidelines
  • Participate in usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs for optimal user experiences
  • Learn and apply industry-standard tools and best practices in UX/UI design to deliver impactful solutions

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2026 or May 2027, with a minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period (June 8 - August 14, 2026)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for problem-solving and a desire to drive results
  • Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
  • Ability to commute to our North Bethesda, MD or Waltham, MA office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week
