We are looking for a UX Copywriter who believes that 'delete' is often the most powerful key on the keyboard. In this role, you won’t just be 'filling boxes with words'—you will be designing the conversation between our product and our users. From button labels and error messages to onboarding flows and tooltips, your goal is to make our user experience intuitive, accessible, and human. This is a fast-paced, 2-month contract based in our Atlanta office, where you’ll collaborate directly with our design and product teams.
Job Responsibility:
Write clear, concise, and helpful copy for end-to-end user journeys (UI components, notifications, and navigation)
Ensure every string of text aligns with our established brand voice while remaining functional and user-centric
Work side-by-side with UX Designers in Figma
Write alt-text and screen-reader-friendly copy
Identify areas where the UI is doing too much heavy lifting and use language to simplify the path to completion
Requirements:
Information Architecture: understanding how users scan pages and where they look for help
Product Thinking: thinking about the 'why' behind a feature
User Testing: experience using research data to iterate on copy
Mastery of Figma
Proficiency in Jira, Slack, and Notion/Google Docs
Knowledge of WCAG standards and how to write for a global audience
Must be local to the Atlanta area
