Job Description

Summary: Cleaning of all debris, including trash, wood chips, bark, boards and log rounds from around the plant site. Will require walking and standing for over 90% of the day with exposure to outside weather conditions. Work will be assigned throughout the week as well as the weekend as well.

Requirements

Cleaning of debris from around the plant site
Pushing or pulling material from around conveyers and machinery
Using compressed air to blow down around machine centers and work sites
Shoveling and/or lifting material from 5 to 30 lbs. into bins for removal
Walking and standing for most of the work shift
Required use of PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs and steel toe boots
Climbing on railcars hooking cables to prepare for tying down packs of lumber
Standing, walking
Using hands, requiring gloves, to touch wooden materials or tools
Reaching, pulling, or pushing with hands and arms
Climbing in/out of Dump Trucks requiring 3-Points of contact
Climbing stairs when going into/out of the Sawmill
Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling (on an as needed basis)
Lifting and/or moving from 5 to 50 lbs. on an intermittent basis and lifting and/or moving from 5 to 50 lbs., as needed
