Job Description:

Our Subsurface Engineering department is rapidly growing, and consists of many adept surveyors, civil and structural engineers, geophysicists and geologists. We have introduced innovative and alternative methods to assist in difficult and unusual engineering surveys and investigations. We offer clients specially trained survey teams who can undertake specialist surveys, combining 3D deliverables with consultative recommendations to our clients. We have been involved in projects such as; Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport, Luas Cross City in Dublin, Swords BRT Scheme, Cork Main Drainage Scheme and the Galway to Mayo Gas pipeline, helping to survey infrastructure across the country.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working with modern survey methods and survey devices such as total stations, GPS, geophysical equipment and data collectors
  • Building and maintaining client relationships ensuring we deliver projects to exact client requirements
  • Assisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments
  • Any other duties as required by the business

Requirements:

  • Degree in geomatics, civil engineering, construction or similar
  • 1 years’ previous experience in the AEC sector
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of surveying/ civil engineering
  • Knowledge of modern survey methods and survey devices, Total stations, GPS and data collectors
  • Knowledge of GPR, CAT and Genny utility detection equipment and procedure for usage
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively
  • Possess the right to work in Ireland
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients
  • Possess a full clean Irish or EU driving license

Nice to have:

  • Experience working within the utility surveying industry
