Job Description:

Holtger Bros., Inc. (HBI) is looking for hard-working skilled Utility Laborers to join our growing team in the Fond du Lac, Oshkosh and Appleton areas! As a Laborer you will work on a crew installing, upgrading, and maintaining telecommunication lines year-round. If you have a Class A CDL, you will be responsible for loading/unloading and transporting our heavy equipment to-and-from jobsites. If you enjoy working outdoors, are eager to learn, and appreciate a hard day’s work – we should connect!

Job Responsibility:

Dig holes and locate existing utilities
Prepare cable routes and feed cable
Secure the job site, place signs where directed, and complete various other tasks as assigned by the Operator and Foreman
Assist the bore rig operator and foreman with essential tasks to complete the job order
Transport and load/unload equipment (driving is approximately 20% of work duties for candidates with a Class A CDL)

Requirements:

An insurance-acceptable driver’s license is required
Willing to travel to job sites throughout the state as needed
Class A CDL is preferred
