Job Description:

The Utility Cleaner at The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta helps support vital hotel functions, including cleaning and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service consistent with the Gold Standards of The Ritz-Carlton. This includes cleaning responsibilities across various departments, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, and ensuring a safe workplace while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

Support cleaning needs across departments
Prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers)
Transport dishware or linens across the hotel
Create a safe workplace
Follow company policies and procedures
Uphold quality standards
Ensure adherence to the 'Gold Standards' of The Ritz-Carlton.

Requirements:

No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
