This is a pivotal role that has a direct impact on how people engage with crucial digital services. As a User Researcher, you will design services that enable users to manage their interactions with departments through live digital platforms. These services will encompass a broad spectrum of topics and user needs, requiring a strong user-focused approach and expertise in user-centric design.
Job Responsibility:
Work collaboratively with user researchers, interaction designers, content designer, service designers and performance analysts as well as software developers and policy teams to produce outstanding digital services
Conduct research and engage with a diverse range of users to design intuitive experiences that address real challenges and meet their needs effectively
Create high-quality, compelling design concepts and artefacts such as personas, flows, service maps and wireframes
Design in an inclusive and accessible way
Work in a multi-disciplinary delivery team
Requirements:
Solid foundation in user-centered design, from concept to final delivery
Proficiency with tools, processes, and methods, and the ability to guide an agile delivery team
Strong ability to understand and articulate the needs of both technical and business stakeholders clearly
Skilled in managing stakeholder expectations and handling difficult discussions
Experienced in creating rapid paper and digital prototypes
