Job Description

We are looking for a skilled User Experience (UX) Researcher to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in understanding user needs and improving the functionality of business enablement portals tailored to the restaurant and catering industry. Collaborating with product managers and designers, you will ensure that our digital solutions meet the expectations of various user groups such as restaurant operators, managers, and corporate staff.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct in-depth research to understand the workflows and daily activities of target users, including restaurant operators, store managers, and corporate staff
  • Develop structured interview guides and lead stakeholder workshops to gather and refine requirements
  • Analyze findings from stakeholder interactions and translate them into actionable insights for product teams
  • Design and execute concept tests and usability test plans to evaluate prototypes and design concepts
  • Facilitate both in-person and remote testing sessions, ensuring effective communication of results to product managers and designers
  • Utilize tools like Teams and UserTesting.com to conduct remote usability tests when necessary
  • Collaborate with product teams to validate design decisions based on user feedback
  • Adapt to evolving project needs, taking on additional responsibilities as required
  • Ensure alignment between user research findings and business objectives to drive successful outcomes

Requirements

  • Proven experience in UX research, particularly in qualitative methods such as interviews and usability testing
  • Strong knowledge of user testing platforms and tools, including remote testing solutions
  • Familiarity with user journey mapping and creating user scenarios
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear and actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills for conducting workshops and presenting findings
  • Experience working in or researching within the restaurant or catering industry is preferred
  • Proficiency in designing test plans and facilitating user-led prototype evaluations
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers
