This position plays a leading role in web experience usability processes and practices on multiple projects including, but not limited to, websites, software user interface (UI) and mobile experiences. Works with internal and external resources to identify, gather and integrate research topics with Insperity’s technology while balancing company goals and objectives with product usability.
Job Responsibility:
Conducts user research and analysis, develops actionable recommendations, and presents findings to internal and external stakeholders
Conducts market and user research to identify industry and emerging trends and makes recommendations on forward-looking new products and features
Works closely with user experience (UX) design, product management, voice of the customer, operations teams and marketing to identify research topics, conduct user research, and recommend priorities based on research findings
Designs testing scenarios and user studies according to research objectives
Conducts and reports on various types of research, including qualitative and quantitative methods for both generative and evaluative purposes
Identifies, analyzes, and advocates for user personas’ needs, goals, tasks, and workflows
Conducts usability testing both remotely and in-person
Drives the overall user research strategy and methods across all product lines
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Interaction Design, Computer Human Interaction or a related field is required
Four to six years of experience in UX research, UX design, voice of the customer, or market research is required
Strong technical mastery of Figma + Adobe
Demonstrated experience with UX research tools (CrazyEgg, UserTesting, Heatmaps)
Work management platforms like Monday.com
Experience conducting user research, usability testing and productive user feedback sessions
Working knowledge of quantitative evaluation methods, behavioral analysis and statistics
Ability to analyze and organize user testing data
Experience creating annotated mockups
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to express complex research in business terms and maintain positive and effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment
Portfolio required — must include visual and UX process examples
