Job Responsibility

  • Lead and define the design vision for intricate user experiences across the audio entertainment service
  • Develop process flows, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to clearly articulate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions with executive leaders to achieve alignment on product vision and design direction
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, user scenarios, and use cases
  • Champion a human-centered design culture and advocate for customer needs throughout the organization
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships across various teams and disciplines to foster collaboration and efficiency
  • Oversee usability testing and produce final design specifications and detailed interaction behaviors for engineering handoff
  • Establish, evolve, and drive the adoption of design guidelines, mechanisms, best practices, processes, and tools
  • Drive UX design for high-impact, complex projects, transforming ambiguous requirements into defined design flows, interactions, and content strategies
  • Mentor design talent and facilitate executive reviews, setting the standard for design excellence

Requirements

  • 10+ years of comprehensive design (8 years of UX design specifically for consumer-facing products)
  • Portfolio showcasing end-to-end digital service experiences across diverse platforms and devices
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or an Associate’s degree or above in a related field

Nice to have

  • A master’s degree in Design, Information Science, Computer Science/HCI, or a design-related discipline such as cognitive psychology
  • Demonstrated ability to present strategic rationale for design decisions to executive stakeholders
  • Experience as a lead product designer for large, complex projects involving multidisciplinary challenges
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools within the product design process
  • Experience designing for AI-enabled features
  • Proven track record of mentoring and elevating senior-level design talent
  • Expertise in defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
  • Experience integrating qualitative and quantitative data into design work and iterations
  • Experience designing for voice and multimodal experiences
  • Adept at addressing ambiguous design problems, working with stakeholders and user research insights to craft solutions grounded in customer needs and business goals
