This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to create impactful and user-centered designs that enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for customer needs, driving design strategies, and collaborating across teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement user-centered design strategies using tools like personas and journey maps to enhance product experiences
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define business and feature requirements through data analysis, usability studies, and market research
  • Create detailed process flows, wireframes, and design mockups to conceptualize and communicate interaction behaviors effectively
  • Facilitate workshops and design sessions to align diverse stakeholders and drive consensus on user experience strategies
  • Present design concepts and solutions to various audiences, including executives, product teams, and user experience groups
  • Advocate for best practices in user interface design and usability principles to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Utilize Figma to design and iterate on web-based applications and software interfaces efficiently
  • Manage multiple projects in an agile environment, ensuring timely delivery of design artifacts and solutions
  • Provide guidance to technical teams on implementing design solutions that align with usability standards
  • Continuously research and stay updated on industry trends to inform and refine design strategies

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in interaction design for web or software applications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Expertise in web-based information architecture and design principles
  • Proficiency in usability techniques and a strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex design concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
  • Experience working with tools like Figma for creating and iterating design solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in agile and fast-paced environments
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with technical teams
