We are recruiting a Used Engine & Generator Sales Representative for a large, well-known distributor. This person is responsible for national sales of used engines and generators. Successful candidates are proactive, resourceful, and driven to identify opportunities that create value for both the company and customers. This is a well-established company with a great reputation!
Job Responsibility:
Research and identify used engines that meet customer needs and project requirements
Evaluate engine condition, market demand, and resale value to identify profitable opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with customers and industry contacts
Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities
Travel as needed for training, to assist at other locations and/or to meet with customers
Requirements:
Proven outside sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Knowledge of engines, generators or related equipment (HVAC, switchgear, ATS, UPS, etc.) and their applications across industries is strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with customers
Self-motivated, pro-active, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
Highly organized with the ability to manage opportunities and follow through on deals
Sales experience in the power generation industry preferred

$100-150k first year guaranteed + additional, uncapped commissions should you exceed the guarantee
