Sytner Group has a rare and very exciting opportunity for an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to join our management team at Sytner Select Wakefield. Reporting into the General Sales Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the performance, profitability and customer experience of our sales operation. You will be responsible for helping to lead and develop the sales team, driving sales performance, and ensuring our customers receive the exceptional levels of service expected across Sytner Group. You will work closely with the Business Manager to deliver departmental objectives, support the sales team in achieving targets, and maintain strong brand and Group standards. This will include coaching and mentoring colleagues, reviewing performance, supporting enquiry management, and helping to create a positive, professional and high-performing sales environment. The role would suit an experienced Sales Manager, Sales Controller, or Business/Retail Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career within a successful, premium automotive retail environment. This is a full-time role which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service.

Requirements
Proven track record of success within the automotive industry, either in a Sales Manager, Sales Controller, Business Manager or Retail Manager role
Strong understanding of the sales process, customer experience, performance management and profitability
Ability to lead, motivate and support a team to exceed targets while maintaining the highest standards
Commercially focused, highly organised and able to bring energy, structure and fresh ideas
Confident in coaching colleagues, driving performance and supporting a culture where team can deliver outstanding results
