Job Responsibility

  • Design and apply a diverse range of qualitative and quantitative research methods across all product stages, from conception to release. This includes lab-based usability tests, in-depth interviews, surveys, focus groups, and field research
  • Collaborate seamlessly with engineering, design, product management, and business partners throughout the entire research process
  • Translate complex research findings and data into clear, actionable recommendations and present them in compelling ways
  • Integrate insights by triangulating multiple data sources to form a holistic understanding
  • Communicate and evangelize research results effectively to engineering and business teams
  • Champion UX research as an essential and integrated aspect of product development
  • Mentor and coach other roles on UX research best practices and methodologies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience utilizing both qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with a technical background or working within a technical industry, preferably in product development
  • A portfolio or work samples that showcase your previous projects, highlighting your impact and specific role
  • A degree in human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, behavioral science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with a wide array of UX research approaches and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with a proven ability to transform research results into valuable product insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently
