Job Description

We here at I.T.S. are currently working with a Top 10 Accountancy firm in London who are searching for a US/UK Tax Director to assist in the growth of their US/UK Private Client Tax Practice in 2024 and beyond. This firms rapidly growing Private Client Team manage funds, businesses and trusts of individuals, families and entrepreneurs. Alongside solving a constantly evolving range of technical challenges, working in this team means building strong relationships with individuals so you can become their trusted advisor and oversee their tax affairs in line with what they want to achieve as an individual or business.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in the growth of US/UK Private Client Tax Practice
  • Manage funds, businesses and trusts of individuals, families and entrepreneurs
  • Solve a constantly evolving range of technical challenges
  • Build strong relationships with individuals to become their trusted advisor
  • Oversee tax affairs in line with what clients want to achieve
  • Identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing delivery and providing additional services

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in signing out tax Forms 1040, 1040NR, 8858, 5471’s/ 8865, 3520’s
  • Strong understanding of CFCs, Subpart F income, GILTI and potential election planning to mitigate these factors
  • Wide experience with the use of the UK/US treaty in detail around business profits, compensation, pensions
  • Enrolled Agent license
  • ATT/CTA qualified
  • Comfortable working pro-actively and managing own tasks
  • Confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and partners
