Job Description

We are looking for a US Healthcare QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Westlake, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, particularly in the healthcare domain.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, document, and maintain automated test assets
  • Adherence to software engineering best practices and standards
  • Help drive toward Continuous Integration and Continuous Improvement
  • Understand and apply Test Driven Design (TDD) concepts to test and debug automated solutions and custom tools
  • Support Functional Testing of Health & Welfare administration platform
  • Understand test requirement and design to build effective test scripts for the given product
  • Attend Requirement & design walkthrough calls with BAs/Developers
  • Execute test cases as part of functional and regression testing
  • Report/track defects through Quality Center/JIRA and maintain defect report.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in automation testing
  • At least 5 years of experience in SQL
  • US healthcare domain knowledge – 3+ yrs
  • Good Experience on Oracle ERP Testing (Oracle ERP – E business suite - Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB) module)
  • Good understanding of Quality assurance testing life cycle, writing test plans/strategies, ability to execute manual and functional testing involving data mocking, running test cases, validation, result validation etc
  • Ability to perform technical and functional analysis of business requirement and translate to QA test plan.
  • Strong DB testing involving ability to write sql scripts
  • Experience working in an agile environment involving knowledge on JIRA, Xray, confluence and other related tools and processes.
  • Must-Have Primary Skill Tester-Automation Testing-Packaged Applications-ERP Test Automation Tool-Oracle EBS
  • Must Have Skill 2 Developer-Tools and Automation-ITSM UI Development ITSM Tool-JavaScript
  • Must-Have Skill 4 Tester-Automation Testing-HP UFT/QTP or Selenium Tools

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP Testing and Agile methodologies
  • Some experience in manual and automating Web Services using API testing tools like SOATest SOAPUI or REST Familiar with Soap UI, Postman, API, Json
  • Manual testing of Web Services or creating Web Services Automation scripting using Selenium or Sahi (not record and playback) Knowledge of Testing framework and unit testing (such as junit testing)
  • Experienced in scripting languages such as JavaScript, VB Script or other Experience in an Object-Oriented technology a plus
  • Experience with Selenium a definite asset Experience with browser Dev tools to inspect elements.
