Job Description:

Are you a caring and motivated individual looking to make a difference in a fast-paced clinical environment? We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic Urology Outpatients Department, supporting patients undergoing LATP (Local Anaesthetic Transperineal biopsy) and flexible cystoscopy procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and maintain clinical environments for LATP and flexible cystoscopy clinics
  • Chaperone and assist patients during procedures
  • Carry out clinical observations and document vital signs
  • Support infection prevention and control practices
  • Assist with stock control and clinic equipment preparation
  • Provide reassurance and clear information to patients before, during, and after procedures

Requirements:

  • 2 years minimum experience within an Outpatient setting
  • Currently practicing or has practised within Urology outpatients, for a minimum of 6 months, over the last 12-month period
  • Applicants must have current UK professional registration
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Check
