• Attend a brief instructor orientation in late May
• Participate in the student awards banquet
• Attend an end-of-summer debrief meeting

• Must be able to demonstrate experience in field of expertise
• Certified or qualified Spanish instructor with secondary-level experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
• Ability to foster independence, academic confidence, and college readiness
• Knowledge of Kentucky State Foreign Language Proficiency Standards

• Prior Upward Bound/ TRIO programs experience
• Experience teaching traditionally underserved populations

No Benefits (less than 20 hrs per week)
