UPS Service & Commissioning Engineer

Job Description

This position puts you right in the middle of critical power environments across the Netherlands, supporting major data centre and mission critical infrastructure. You will be the engineer on site making sure UPS systems are commissioned properly, faults are resolved properly, and customers have confidence in the equipment and the support behind it. The role can be based anywhere in the Netherlands, with travel across the country and occasional European travel when needed.

Job Responsibility

  • Commissioning UPS and critical power systems on customer sites
  • Carrying out service, fault finding, maintenance and technical support across installed infrastructure
  • Support installation, testing, integration and handover
  • Working closely with internal teams and end users to keep projects moving and issues resolved

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in UPS, critical power, or another mission critical environment
  • Proven experience working on three-phase UPS systems in a service, commissioning or related engineering role
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
  • Confident fault finding and problem solving on live systems
  • Able to manage technical issues directly with end users
  • Credible on site, professional with customers, and comfortable working independently
