Job Description

There’s a difference between working as a UPS field engineer for a third-party contractor and doing it as the manufacturer’s own representative on site. If you’ve spent time on the contractor side, you’ll know what that difference looks like – and how clients treat you accordingly. This role is field-based, covering the South East, for a global manufacturer operating across more than 160 countries. Basic salary is £65,000 to £75,000 depending on experience. On top of that: an annual bonus of around £10,000, £650 per month car allowance, private healthcare and an enhanced pension.

Job Responsibility

  • Commission UPS and critical power systems on customer sites
  • Provide technical support through installation and post-deployment phases
  • Troubleshoot with customers and internal teams
  • Represent the business in the field
  • Operate autonomously and manage own workload

Requirements

  • Solid hands-on experience with three-phase UPS systems
  • Commissioning, field support, or application engineering background
  • Sound understanding of data centre power infrastructure and electrical standards
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel across Europe when needed

What we offer

  • Annual bonus of approximately £10,000
  • £650 per month car allowance
  • Private healthcare
  • Enhanced employer pension contribution
