Job Description:

Upper Primary Maths Teacher position starting August 2025 in Hangzhou, China. The role is part of the BASIS International & Bilingual Schools group, offering a transformative education with cutting-edge curricula designed to prepare students for prestigious universities worldwide. Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5)
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience for teaching roles, more for leadership
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills in teaching ideas, texts, and concepts with precision and confidence
  • Open to new ideas in teaching
  • Knowledgeable, passionate, and believe in transforming education

  • Uphold standards of cleanliness and operation of all equipment as set by management, as well as reporting any equipment malfunctions to management
  • Stocktaking and ordering supplies for designated stations
  • Strive for self-improvement and enhance personal skills by incorporating feedback from the chefs
  • Taking initiative to assist in various kitchen areas as necessary or when the need arises
  • Assign and supervise recipes and prep work completed by Commis, while also contributing to their development process
