As an Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer, you play a critical role enabling the world's most advanced semiconductor technology. At ASML, your work directly supports customers who create faster, smaller, and more energy-efficient microchips that power everyday life. You will join the Customer Support organization, where you help install, upgrade, and relocate complex lithography systems at customer sites across the United States. In this Upgrade Install and Relocation Engineer role, you support ASML's mission to push technology forward by ensuring systems perform safely, reliably, and to specification.
Job Responsibility
Install, upgrade, and relocate semiconductor equipment at customer sites
Inspect, assemble, align, and test system components to meet design specifications
Diagnose technical issues, perform repairs, and verify system functionality
Collaborate with colleagues and customers to identify root causes and resolve issues
Escalate complex problems clearly and promptly to supporting teams when needed
Train customers on system operation and routine maintenance practices
Complete technical documentation and service reports with accuracy and clarity
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent practical experience
Zero to two years of relevant work experience in a technical or field-based role
Exposure to the semiconductor industry, vacuum systems, or plasma technology is preferred
Experience using standard computer applications for documentation and basic data analysis
Apply analytical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues
Work collaboratively while also managing tasks independently
Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
Follow structured procedures while identifying opportunities for improvement
Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
