Now, we’re searching for talented individuals to join us as we take on fresh challenges and continue shaping the future of indie gaming. Our game development studio is looking for a talented Unreal Engine Programmer to join our in-house team in the vibrant city of Valencia, Spain. If you are passionate about creating immersive gaming experiences and working with cutting-edge technology, we want to meet you!

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of C++ programming and the Unreal Engine API
  • Solid understanding of game development concepts, including game physics, AI, animations, and UI integration
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce, Plastic SCM, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Blueprint scripting
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
  • Experience with debugging and performance optimization in Unreal Engine
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a Spanish and English-speaking environment

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 4/5 with at least 2 years of experience in professional or personal projects
  • Experience in multiplayer/networked game development (e.g., using Unreal’s Online Subsystem or third-party solutions)
  • Familiarity with Gameplay Ability System (GAS)
  • Familiarity with game optimization for consoles
  • Knowledge of shader programming and graphics optimization within Unreal Engine
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum or Kanban)
  • Familiarity with third-party SDKs, plugins, and services
  • Experience with debugging and performance optimization in Unreal
  • A passion for video games and a portfolio showcasing previous work is highly valued
